The mission of Grace Place Ministries is to develop and implement a comprehensive program of ministries in and outside the prison that will empower women incarcerated at the Mark Luttrell Correctional Center   (State Prison for women) here in Memphis to become disciples of Jesus Christ and to live out their call to discipleship in the prison and as they re-enter the free world by establishing a United Methodist Congregation within our prison.  Our office is located at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.  Grace Place believes that women, even incarcerated women, can serve the Lord and experience what it means to be part of the body of christ.  We seek to be that  "place of grace" where they cannot only experience the transforming love of Jesus Christ, but hear and respond to their call to discipleship.  Rev.
